Dean Lister Shows How to Break an Armbar Stalemate by Cutting at the Forearm

A lot of weak novice grapplers I've seen have been caught in many an armbar stalemate while attempting it from the top, because the opponent is stronger with a powerful grip.

Dean 'The Boogeyman' Lister shows how to break that without too much trouble:

Tips from the video:
Don't try to swing back to wedge your own arm as far into the elbow as possible- instead, figure four near the back of the forearm.

Don't try to yank back or up. Rather, use your shoulders and abs to pull the elbow towards the chest. That pushes their forearm and bicep together with your own arm in between, which creates a significant amount of pressure on the forearm.
