The Flying Armbar, aka, the "please don't think that this is a high percentage move" Armbar"

I'm a little short on time today, So I'm going to stick you guys with a little bit of flashiness.

So, without further ado...
THE FLYING ARMBAR from submissions101.

The biggest difference between BJJ and Judo guys with this move, as I see it, is that the Judo guy focuses heavily on making sure the opponent is flat on his back by the end of the technique, by throwing the leg over later, and using the inside leg with more force.

Also, to finish, a flying submissions highlight...Enjoy!

This is gotta be my favorite flying armbar technique.

My judo instructor taught me a falling armbar, which is a cool alternative because I can't get the flying armbar down.

Actually, that's funny- I was just deciding which video I wanted to use to showcase the flying armbar this morning, and that was one of the three I was choosing from.

And yes, the falling armbar is usually a much better, though less spectacular, option than the flying one.

Thanks for the comment.
