Kneebar Escape: Shrimping

Here is the shrimp escape to the basic kneebar-

Basically, since the point of the kneebar for the attacker is get your knee above his hips, intuition should tell you that getting the knee out quickly should be a good way to escape this crippling technique.

Steps:
-Before the kneebar is fully extended, post your hands on his hips/butt/leg- whatever you can firmly post on.

-Shrimp out explosively, and create enough space for you to use your other leg to push against your opponent.

Yes, it's a fairly simple technique- however, I cannot stress enough how important it is to respond immediately, because only the attacker has a death grip on your leg and locks in the kneebar, how incredibly difficult to escape.

Happy Training

PS-
just because, here's my example of the kneebar (not the escape) at work:

Good stuff. I've been looking for something like this everywhere. I got caught in one training and it messed my world up.
