Triangle Choke from Half Guard Bottom


Here's a sneaky Triangle setup from Half Guard Bottom:
  1. From the half guard, your opponent beats you to the near side underhook
  2. Don't let him flatten you out and brace against his stomach with your knee
  3. As soon as he starts to press in, keep that brace firm, grab his posted arm to push out for space, and use that moment to pull your leg out and throw over the shoulder
  4. Finish the Triangle from there
