Tomorrow's UFC card looks to be an exciting one, so I won't waste any more time and give you a short and sweet breakdown of the UFC 134 main card.
Light Heavyweight bout: Luiz Cane vs. Stanislav Nedkov
Luiz Cane by TKO, cutting the undefeated Bulgarian's UFC debut short. However, I've heard good things about Nedkov, so I'll be seeing if he's as exciting as they say he is.
Lightweight bout: Ross Pearson vs. Edson Barboza
Barboza via KO. Anyone with 2 TKO via leg kick on their record has my vote over a fighter whose primary style is TKD, even if he is a TUF winner.
Heavyweight bout: Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub
This is my inner fanboy talking, but Nog by Submisssion. The truth is, Big Nog is turning into Old Nog real fast, and if there was any time for a guy like Schaub to TKO a legend, it's now.
Light Heavyweight bout: Maurício Rua vs. Forrest Griffin
Rua via decision. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to be rooting for Forrest, but Rua is dangerous, despite the Jones loss, and his cardio is not going to be as shitty as their first matchup. Also, I have this sinking feeling that Griffin is going to do something stupid like trying to work a guard game later in the fight and getting punched in the face alot as a result.
Middleweight Championship: Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami
Watch this: http://punchkickchoke.blogspot.com/2011/08/anderson-silvas-dq-loss-to-yushin-okami.html
Silva by MurderDeathKill, avenging his DQ loss to Okami. Short of a Ryo Chonan-Flying-Heelhook-Flying-Kamakazi attack, there's not much hope for Okami. On the other hand, Silva might just take the opportunity to dance around and practice his Samba for 5 rounds, then proceed to thank Steven Seagal for teaching him that.
